Talk about slow distribution...

This comes via email from a reader (Billy Hollis).

"[This is] a screenshot from Amazon, showing that the Mission Impossible TV series will be released on DVD. It says “This title will be released on December 31, 1969. You may order it now and we will ship it to you when it arrives.

I guess a time machine would have to be involved somehow, but I’m trying to figure out exactly how."

Heh.  Maybe it's just taken that long to work out all the legal contracts.

Anyway, I loved that show.  And I knew that Barney (Greg Morris) had all kinds of way cool tech stuff, but I didn't think a time machine was part of it.

Isn't he "out" yet?

Seacrest himself taped this last year for presentation on the Letterman show.  I imagine that he (and his agent) thought it might make him appear to be a guy who could poke fun at himself, who doesn't take himself too seriously.

Yeah.  That's exactly what I myself think, of course.  (Full disclosure:  my dear wife is a huge American Idol fan, and even I liked Bo this last season.  My wife also doesn't read this blog every day.  Every now and then I'm glad of that last one, because she has also become a genuine, bona-fide, jumping-up-and-down hollering and clapping Clay Aiken fan.  They call themselves "Claymates."  The comments are now open to receive your condolences.)
