So sorry to have suddenly stopped posting, folks, but I've spent the last 48 hours without an internet connection--and very nearly without a computer at all. Replacing my broadband modem returned my connection, but I'm using one of my sons' computers at the moment, as I think my motherboard may be history.
Being a Pentium III motherboard, it was pretty much ancient history anyway.
Anyway, I did see the president's speech yesterday, and thought it was pretty good, but just the sort of thing he should be doing every week or so rather than once every long while. The democrats' responses, in general, seemed to boil down to "but he should have said MORE," which strikes me as just one of the things they say when they can't think of anything substantive, and they're pretty much obligated to be critical somehow, some way.
Thanks for still checking for updates while I was gone, and believe me, I have no plans to stop--only plans to get better. But in the meantime, I (and everyone else in the family, too) have a few really important things to tend to online now that we have our connection back.
See you 'round the net.
