In order to get started with some of the preliminary designs I already have, let me list a few of them for you so you can see what'll be coming up. And you should know my philosophy about DIY electronics—it’s all about performance. If I can’t make something work better than what I could just go out and buy, it’s hard for me to justify going to the trouble and effort to design, debug, and build something--but if I think I CAN design something better than what’s normally available out there, then I wouldn’t be satisfied unless I did exactly that. I have a feeling many of you feel the same way. And I’m a pretty picky, “anal” type of individual, too, so I tend to pay attention to detail.
In that spirit, here are a few ideas for which I have at least some preliminary designs in the works. (These are not necessarily in order of publication.)
