Just sayin’…

No doubt you have all noticed that I haven’t posted anything much in quite a long time.  This is in no way indicative of my not having anything to say—indeed, as you might figure, I have quite a lot—but I seem to have also lost quite a bit of my blogging “mojo.”

Why?  It’s pretty simple and easy to understand.  This blog was built with an engine designed to run on interaction with its readers.  I know how many hits this blog gets, and it’s pretty small, but out of all of them, not one has posted a comment or sent me an email.  Not even a “Hi, how are you?  Cool blog!”

It gets kind of discouraging after a while.  So, whether you’re just passing by to see if there’s anything new, or a new reader arriving via Google or Bing or something, please try to interact somehow.  A comment is most welcome, even if it has nothing much to do with the post being commented on.  But a thoughtful comment on a post that actually adds to the subject is what I’m really after.  If you read a post and think, “how ridiculous!” then tell me how ridiculous you think it is, and why!  If you think, “I know how to make this better,” then by all means tell me how!

And if you’re one of the few who are actually anticipating new content on the subjects I’ve already raised, don’t worry—I’m going to continue writing.  And everyone is still welcome to just visit and browse whatever is here.  There’s only one thing I ask in return.
